Apple has launched a new Pride Edition collection for the Apple Watch, alongside watch faces and wallpapers for iPhones and iPads, in celebration of LGBTQ+ communities worldwide during Pride Month and beyond. The company expresses its commitment to supporting organizations that serve these communities through financial contributions.
The Pride Edition Sport Loop, which can be ordered starting today, is crafted using a rainbow palette of 11 nylon yarn colors. The band features an intricate weaving technique that blends one hue into another, creating a vibrant and dynamic appearance. This design aims to capture the spectrum of colors that represent the diverse identities within LGBTQ+ communities globally.
The Pride Luminance watch face is designed to pair seamlessly with the band, using refractive colors to honor the vibrancy and individuality of the LGBTQ+ community. It offers two geometric patterns: radial, which features rays of color that align with the hour marks, and vertical, which mirrors the colorful linear stripes of the band.
