Captain America is one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans were thrilled when Anthony Mackie took up the mantle in the role. In a recent interview, Mackie opened up about what makes his version of the character different from Chris Evans’ and why he thinks it might be better.

Mackie said that his version of Captain America is different because he’s not a superhero in the traditional sense. “I think with my Cap, he’s not a superhero. He doesn’t have a super serum, so his superpower is his humanity,” Mackie explained.

The actor went on to say, “I just see him as more of a humane Cap, as opposed to a Cap of judgment, where ‘this is right, and this is wrong.’ There are decisions that make you choose right or wrong.”

Fans of the MCU will be excited to see Mackie bring his unique take on the character to life in the upcoming “Captain America: Quantumania.” With the film set to hit theatres later this year, fans are eagerly awaiting to see how Mackie will bring a fresh perspective to the beloved hero.
