Eyelash Extension: Should you really invest in them?

Our eyes play an important role in our overall look and outer appearance and eyelashes are its accessories. Believe it or not but your eyelashes can break the game or let you ace it!

There are various lash-related products available on the beauty market, including heated curlers, growth serums, and magnifying mascaras, but no product is as divisive as eyelash extensions. Hand-glued on top of your natural lashes, eyelash extensions are semi-permanent lashes, and when lash extensions first entered the market, they seemed like a relatively painless way to achieve voluminous lashes, but as with any new beauty service, lash extensions soon became known for their drawbacks, including instances of irritation, infection, and damaged natural lashes as a result of improper technique and hygiene, in addition to being fairly pricey.

With lash extensions, you can still swim, wash, and work out while having lovely, long, fluttering lashes every day. However, because eyelashes normally require glue to attach the extension to the original follicle and because eyes are extremely sensitive to these chemicals, the main risk of eyelash extensions is eye irritation. In addition, a lot of effort and money must be invested. As your natural lashes develop and your extensions move further away from the base of the lash, it becomes more difficult for your natural lashes to maintain the weight of the extension which may result in breakage. It is also still very conceivable that you will see damage to your natural lashes.

If you are ready to face anything in the name of beauty, you must give it a try! Eyelash extensions can last for six to eight weeks before they come out naturally if you actually take care of them. However, as they start to fall out, you may go back and have your lash stylist fill in the gaps, extending the life of your extensions.
