The continuing conflict between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over her ability to sell her ownership stake in their jointly owned Chateau Miraval Winery appears to be getting more complicated after Pitt’s legal team claimed that Angelina was seeking to “inflict harm” by selling her shares on purpose. According to fresh court filings about the French vineyard and estate that they jointly owned, the actress’ legal team has also responded to the same.

The actors jointly own the southern French company Miraval. The ex-couple originally acquired a controlling interest in it in 2008, and in March 2013, they started marketing their own rosé. In August 2014, they were wed in the chateau, but in February 2022, Brad filed a lawsuit alleging Angelina had fraudulently sold her shares in Miraval.

Jolie’s team has reacted to the ongoing winery litigation and has criticised it as “Frivolous, Malicious & A Part Of Problematic Pattern,” according to the official article by Just Jared via Radar Online.

Moreover, Brad says that he should have had the authority to approve any sale, but prior court records revealed that Angelina requested the sale of her Miraval estate shares, stating she did so in order to achieve “economic security” from Pitt in the wake of the 2016 flight incident.
