Henry Cavill, who is best known for his portrayal of Superman in the DC Extended Universe, recently shared a story about a time he felt intimidated by another actor. In an interview, he recalled a time he met Patrick Stewart during the auditions and became so nervous that he forgot his own acting skills.

In a talk show on Variety, Henry told Patrick, “You and I met many years ago — I think it was in 2003 when you were casting for The Lion in Winter I’d been acting for three years, I was incredibly nervous to audition in front of an actor of your calibre. I had spent weeks learning my lines, and by the time I got in there, I’d whipped myself into such a frenzy that I completely flubbed the audition.”

Cavill’s story is a reminder that even celebs once felt nervous and intimidated by others in their industry. It’s a testament to the power of great acting and the importance of learning from those who have come before.

As for his own acting career, Cavill is set to reprise his role as Superman in the upcoming film “The Flash.” Despite his nerves around Patrick Stewart, Cavill has proven himself to be a talented and successful actor in his own right, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the DC Universe.
