How to clean cheap jewellery

While discolouration can’t be prevented for a long time but to keep your cheap jewellery in better condition, make these solutions and clean them.

We all love accessorising and making a jewellery collection is the least we can do with our love for them. While buying cheap pieces of jewellery, there comes the risk of them getting discoloured.

While discolouration can’t be prevented for a long time but to keep your cheap jewellery in better condition, you can try these cleaning techniques:

Cleaning Brass

To clean brass jewellery, apply some ketchup over it and leave it for 10-20 minutes. Clean it with a brush and rinse it with water. Do make sure to pat dry the water on the jewellery.

Baking soda

Put some baking soda in a bowl. Add some water to it. Put your jewellery in it and leave it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes pass, grab a brush and clean it with that. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Baking soda and salt clean well

Combine one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of salt. Pour it into a dish, add a cup of warm water to it, and then cover the dish with aluminium foil. The foil and bubble will experience a chemical reaction as a result of the mixing. Jewellery will be cleaned by it. Use cool water to rinse. Apply a clean cloth to dry.
