One of the most well-known superheroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow, had to say goodbye in 2019 with Avengers: Endgame. Since the release of Iron Man in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been enthralling audiences around the world with superhero movies but it was Iron Man’s death that caused all of the Marvel fans to sob, and ever since then, we have been waiting to see the superhero again in any of the Marvel productions. In a recent media interview, Robert Downey Jr. may have made a clue about a possible comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Iron Man can now return to Earth 616 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to a recent fan theory video we came across. Tony dies in the MCU after snapping the Infinity stones, which send Thanos and his army back to their timeline. And while many of you might assume that this is accomplished through time travel, according to this fan theory, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man is capable of returning with an Infinity Stone. It’s because Steve Roger, a.k.a. Captain America, played by Chris Evans, is most likely still in access of the Infinity Stone.
The video also claims that while all of the other Infinity stones could be placed back from where they were taken, the soul stone was obtained after making a sacrifice and as the sacrifice cannot be undone, it’s likely the soul stone is still in possession of Chris Evans’ character.
