Actor Paul Mescal, known for his breakout role in the hit series Normal People, recently recalled an awkward encounter with Nicole Kidman during the filming of their upcoming series, Nine Perfect Strangers. Mescal revealed that their first meeting involved him wearing nothing but sweaty underwear.
In an interview, Mescal recounted the experience, saying, “There’s something incredibly undignified about meeting someone for the first time in your sweaty underwear. But that’s what happened.”
The actor went on to explain that he had just finished a workout when he was called to meet Kidman for the first time. Despite the embarrassing moment, Mescal praised Kidman for being “incredibly gracious” and making him feel comfortable.
