Steven Spielberg Praises RRR Director SS Rajamouli, Calls Film “Outstanding”

Steven Spielberg, one of the most renowned directors in Hollywood, has recently showered praise on SS Rajamouli, the director of the highly-anticipated film, RRR. In a recent interview, Spielberg was asked about his thoughts on the film, to which he replied, “Your movie was outstanding.”
Steven Spielberg said, “I couldn’t believe my eyes – it was like eye candy… A beautiful visual style and I just thought it was extraordinary to look at and experience. So congratulations for RRR.” He also said, “I thought the performances… In your movie, I was happy to see how you ended Alison Doody’s story. She was heinous and so was her husband (Ray Stevenson’s General Scott), It had a beautiful visual style.”
Spielberg went on to praise Rajamouli’s skills as a filmmaker, stating that he was impressed by the director’s ability to bring his vision to life on the big screen. He also praised the film’s cast, calling them “exceptional,” and said that he was eager to see the film.
At the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles this year, SS Rajamouli and Steven Spielberg crossed paths and later, Rajamouli shared pictures on social media, with a caption that read, “I just met God.”
