Taylor Swift is an internationally recognized artist, and all of her songs tell lovely tales in addition to being melodies. Like her music, Taylor Lautner, whom she dated for a brief period of time back in 2009, has long been a topic of conversation among her fans. Additionally, Lautner just made a comment about his ex after more than ten years.
Taylor Lautner, who briefly dated Taylor Swift in 2009, recently reflected on the infamous MTV VMAs of that year. In an award show in 2009, Kanye West stopped Taylor Swift, who was then Lautner’s girlfriend, as she was accepting an award on stage.
The wife asked him which point in his life he would like to go back to if he could on one of the most recent episodes of Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dome’s podcast, The Squeeze, and his response involved apologies to his ex, Taylor Swift. He says, “Probably the 2009 VMAs when I presented the award to Taylor and was unaware that the Kanye thing was not a skit.”
He further added, “I can barely hear it. I can’t see them and I’m just assuming this whole thing was a practised and rehearsed skit, because why else would Kanye West be jumping on the stage interrupting Taylor Swift? It just didn’t make sense.”
He continued to reveal that it was not till Swift’s face was seen that he sensed something was really wrong and it was not a rehearsed act. He says, “He jumped off. She finished. The second she turned back around and I saw her face for the first time, I was like, ‘Oh. No. That wasn’t good,’” he said.
