According to several media sources, the hackers who assert to have obtained the information of about 400 million Twitter users have offered a deal with the social media platform.
According to a report by Israeli cyber intelligence firm Hudson Rock, Twitter is likely dealing with its worst data leak ever after a hacker claimed to have stolen the data of 40 crores of Twitter users and sold it on the dark web. Furthermore, high-profile users like Salman Khan and Charlie Puth are among those whose data was stolen.
The information that the hacker stole from Twitter users, according to the Israeli cyber intelligence firm Hudson Rock, contains a shocking amount of data, including the e-mail addresses and phone numbers of prominent users. To confirm this, the firm has also shared images of the Twitter post where the hacker disclosed information about the data leak.
According to several media sources, the hackers who assert to have obtained the information of about 400 million Twitter users have offered a deal with the social media platform and have said, “Twitter or Elon Musk, if you are reading this post, you are already at risk of GDPR fines for the data leak of over 54 million users.
