Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise are in for a treat as two of Hollywood’s biggest action stars, Vin Diesel and Robert Downey Jr., are set to reunite for the latest instalment in the franchise, Fast & Furious XI.
The two actors first appeared together in the fourth instalment of the franchise, Fast & Furious, and their on-screen chemistry was well-received by audiences. This time around, they are teaming up once again to bring their unique brand of action and humour to the franchise.
Vin Diesel, who has been a staple of the Fast & Furious franchise since its inception, will reprise his role as Dominic Toretto. Robert Downey Jr., on the other hand, will be joining the franchise for the first time since the fourth instalment, and fans are excited to see what he will bring to the table.
Vin Diesel, while talking to Variety, said, “Without telling you too much about what happens in the future, there’s a character who is the antithesis of Dom who is promoting AI and driverless cars and a philosophy that with that goes your freedom.”
In addition to the two action stars, the film will also feature an all-star cast, including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris, who has been with the franchise since the beginning. The film is being directed by David Twohy, who has previously worked with Vin Diesel on the Riddick franchise.
